Behind The Motion: Make It Sunny

Here’s an example of what can be done when you’ve specifically gone abroad to shoot in decent weather and it lets you down!
In almost all cases, comping in a blue sky into a flat white shot doesn’t cut the mustard. Edges don’t look correct and the contrast range look all out of kilter.
This was a quick solution that made the difference and fit the narrative which was the journey of a misplaced suitcase beginning at dawn and ending at dusk.

Not sure if I like the highlights it gave to the womans hair. Almost looks like major greying.
