Mini Movie (Small Church)

James’ Story

Created By: Dan Madison
Church: Harvest Church

How it was used:
Mini-testimonial movie used for a sermon.

Caleb and Joshua

Church: Grace Church

How it was used:
We did a series called Heroes and Villians that took classic bible stories that have been largely relegated to the children’s wing and used them for teaching in our regular services (David & Goliath, etc.). I used the video game Little Big Planet to create a tongue in cheek recap of the story of Joshua and the Spies going into the promised land.

I created the level and then captured a play through of it, which we then recorded voice-over for so it was like an adult telling the story to a child, but the child keeps interrupting and putting their own story elements in.

Church Name: Forefront Church

How it was used:
The video was played towards the end of sermon our lead pastor did on “Greed vs. Generosity”. It was shown to communicate visually what our pastor had been talking about throughout the morning.

Lamentations 3

Church Name: Fair Oaks Church

How it was used:
Our Pastor was speaking on Lamentations 3. So we created somewhat of a paraphrase for his message.

Visual Liturgy

Church Name: Crossbridge Christian Church

How it was used:
It was used as Visual Liturgy. The video uses the scriptures that were being taught on that day. It was designed to emphasize visually what has been done for us on the Cross and through God’s love for us.
