Morning Motion – Project Homeless Connect

Promotion, encouragement, celebration and some classy motion graphics, no to mention some very high quality video footage.

Video Information:

On February 12, 2010 Project Homeless Connect set up shop in Downtown Orlando,FL to provide much needed aid to the homeless/impoverished of the city. They provided everything from showers, to haircuts, to medical attention and flu prevention, to bread and lunch, and even helped many get their ID’s and find jobs.

I really like the depth of field stuff they did in this. Not sure which is better the motion graphics or the footage.

I'm gonna take a wild guess that it was a DSLR used to shoot this?

I noticed that a 7d was used in some of mancel's other videos so my best guess is a canon 7d.

yeah, they definitely have a look of their own, but that's a good thing in most cases :)

have you seen any of Philip Blooms work with DSLR's?

I have, great stuff, wish i had the cash flow to afford one, maybe in the next year.

yeah and they just released the Rebel T2i/ 550D which doesn't have some of the pro features the 7d has, but image quality for video is supposed to be pretty close…and a lot cheaper.

I've had the Nikon D90, but only use it for vacation video lol. The "rolling shutter" is too much to bear for me on the D90, but the photos are awesome
