Vimeo Launches Stock Music Store, Tracks are Free!

Looking for music for your videos? Vimeo.com just launched a brand new Music Store to make finding music to use in commercial and personal projects easier.

There is huge selection on free music in the store but price depends on what license you buy the tracks with. Personal tracks cost at most $1.99 while commercial license can cost up to $98. Churches will need to use the commercial license according to the FAQ.

The music library is not something new but is built out of tracks from Free Music Archive and AudioSocket. Even tho Vimeo is using existing content, search seems to be the key to this being successful. Plus they have made it easy to save favorite tracks for later.

The free track listing makes this worth checking out, plus Vimeo Plus members get 1 free track using the personal license. So head over to the Vimeo Music Store and grab some audio for your videos!

We have been using royalty free music from Royalty Free Music Library because once you license the track, you can use it forever. I’ts a great way to stretch your budget!

It’s true that the majority of video makers, ad creators, film makers, and animation artists like incorporating royalty free music tracks into their videos, as it helps staying protected against the copyright issues.
